SLD Police Pack 1 specs
Had a quick question about the audio files for the patrol sedans when I put them on our main server yesterday. Opened a discord ticket and the dev replied in like 10 minutes with the exact fix. Very happy with the support service. Cars are streaming fine with 120 players online and cops love the lighting setups.
We were worried about client texture memory because our server is small and some players have weak PCs... but file sizes on these YFTs and YTDs are extremely light. Running all nine models in our police department and no texture loss or lag reported at all. Working dials and lights look great in game.
Threw the whole pack onto our test server on Tuesday to check collision meshes and lighting before pushing to live. Our LSPD main tested every car on the track and in town. The feedback was instantly positive, especially regarding the custom engine sounds and handling instead of recycled default profiles. Pushed it to the main city last night and the police team is super happy with the update.
Put this pack in for a client's LSPD fleet last week. The handling files are actually done properly per car, but the toros was a bit too aggressive for their department standards. Tweaked the drive bias and acceleration in the handling.meta in under five minutes. Only minor niggle was organizing the spawn list for their CAD, but otherwise drop-in ready.
